Well if arrow was right..then I think It was pointing to a SOLID CAPICITOR...
Caps are used to store electical charge.......unh never mind.....
    Is that you really wanted.....?????
(PS: You cant guess the different part of a circuit board do..unless you design that for yourself.....;))

Like he said, it stores an electrical charge, gives power to certain parts of your card at certain times, I think. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capacitor

If you pull it out, you will most likely void your warranty, and there is a good chance you'll wreck your card, (at least if you try and run it without that capacitor).

just run the card and play the games!! The manufacturers put in that capacitor for a reason and unless you are a designer of that card you can't possibly tell what its purpose is.... just leave it alone and enjoy :D

Guys I think he wants to remove it coz that capacitor is sitting directly on the chipset heatsink.... and probably is not allowing the card to seat properly.

    I think!

Thats very odd to happen .. though the capacitor will be getting a lot hot .. but even then ...

dude, its a power module. there are alot of them on there. thats what all of those round things are. they actually phase the power to the gpu so it stays cooler. and all the power dont hit it at once

Edit= DO NOT REMOVE IT!! lol
