What do you do with your old video cards once you upgrade? Do you have any just lying around collecting dust or in a spare pc that is not used for gaming?

Well, right my old card(FX5700NU) is in a friend's computer till he decides to buy his own. If it wasnt that it would probably be collecting dust since I have the same card in my other computer.

My old Geforce 2 is sitting in a drawer in my basement. My old Trident is in an old PII system that I was trying to get running. Has no floppy drive so I can't install an OS through DOS on it.

i am yet to upgrade my GFX card in any of my rigs, but i do have a pci radeon 9200 se laying around i dont use, i keep it neatly in its box, just in case i ever need a pci 3d card, then it will come in handy

when my dad decides to get rid of his old p3 733, i might put it in there and fix the machine up a bit, but im not sure yet

once i upgrade my 9600pro, its either getting sold to my lil brother once he builds his own rig, or im gonna keep it around for when i upgrade my mobo/cpu so i can reunite them into a sys for maybe my dad or someone, or maybe just make a small server out of it

thats the main reason im keeping the pci card around, if something ever goes wrong with an agp card, i know i can count on that card to help me out, and i doubt it would be easy to just find a pci card quickly nowadays, and not pay to much for it

and to the number 10 poster, what the hell? you have a 6800 in a p3? ill trade you a 9600pro for that bad boy, with that p3 cpu, you aint gonna see any difference anyway ;)

I gave my old FX5200 to my dad as he doesnt run games. He uses Microsoft AutoRoute alot and said that it loaded the maps faster. The old ATi Radeon that was in my dads machine went to my sisters so she could run The Sims 2 properly. I suppose if the card I was selling was new enough, I would sell it on ebay.
