I was wondering this because I still have my old
Geforce FX 5900XT 256Bit 128 MB card and I dont know what to do with it now that i've upgraded to a geforce 6,
I considered selling it or maybe building another PC to put it in, it just seems such a waste to have a decently powerful video card sitting in its box unloved and not used?

Lets make this thread (the Grave of our Geforce FX Series cards)
where we lay them to rest for the final time. LOL

My Two cards I still have with in sight of me.

Geforce FX 5200 64 Bit 128MB (In my brothers comp)
Geforce FX 5900XT 256 Bit 128MB (In its box only 3 months old)

    Rest in peace LOL, LOL

    Now U.................................................

cool we were both running on the same NV35 Core before we upgraded except your upgrade was better or should I say more higher up the line than mine. Oh well My 6600 does me fine much better than the 5900XT, I love my 6600. lol

He only has a Athlon XP 1700+ (1.47 GHz), a VIA KM266 chipset, micro ATX mobo, AGP 4x Slot, 512 MB DDR 266, 300 Watt Power Supply. So I think the card will be a bit bottlenecked/Wasted in his system plus he is getting a Geforce 6200/6600 soon.
I think it might be more better as my own personal back up card maybe hmmmmmm................

My geforce 5900 is my back up just in case my 6800 somehow dies on me(won't be the first time a component bit the dust prematurely).

I might be interested in taking it off your hands. What brand is it and how is it's condition?

I have a box, where every major video card I have ever personally owned is kept, all in static bags.

All of the cards except for one still work perfectly too. I got everything in that box from voodoo rush to savage 2000 to gefore FX 5900. One day my 6800U will be banished to the box.....just waiting for nvidia to give me a reason to :D

i gave the card to my little sister so she could play final fantasy and sims 2. runs good without pixel shader 2.0. i cant use that card for a back up because im using PCI express like the high rollers. SOO that BFG FX5900XT oc is still working hard and making someone happy =)

    the 5900 to 6600 .. GREAT up grade =)

i sold off my old GF4 rig and all, half a year later i built this new rig to the right

i still have a rad 9200se PCI as a backup should my 9600pro somehow die, and i think ill just keep that PCI card as a backup for the time to come

soon ill go to a 6600GT, maybe ill sell the 9600pro, if i can find someone to buy it, and for a nice price

and im glad to say i skipped the FX series of cards all together, sure they were nice cards, but for this machine i had the choice between a 9600pro and a 5700le, which isnt a hard one

I gave my 5900 Ultra to my brother and put his 5700 into my dads PC. Iam very happy with my MSI 6800 GT, good upgrade, I'm still tweaking it and 'burning it in', I also just got a new PSU so I'm considering overclocking (it runs heaps cool too).

    Really for How Much?
It is an XpertVision card only 4 months old.
It's NEVER been overclocked (I dont believe in OverClocking at all)
I'ts in really good condition, Nothing wrong with it at all. It practicly looks like new. (No dust in the Heatsink or FAN)
I still have its box and everything that came with it.
    NV35
    Core 390 MHz
    Mem 700 MHZ
    256 Bit Memory Interface

So thats the specs on it, this should be enough for u I hope so.....

    What Price were you thinking??
