What concerns me...

    ...is the fact to tolerate the high temp readouts of the 8800 line cards since the 100.65 WHQL driver. GPU Probe shows over ~10°C higher temps in idle conditions (2D) with the latest beta driver 101.41 and now, thanks to compuguy1088 for getting them real :), with the new 101.70 WHQL driver from windowsupdate. i know that some peeps here and there around the net complain about that but otherwise its got kinda hidden by any means.
    so...what does you with your shiny new 8800 card say...acceptable?

    WHQL driver ----------------- 100.65 -------- 101.70

    did bug reporting that to nvidia...so everybody how gets higher temps too may feel free to post his thoughts.
