Honestly I'm having a lot of family issues right now so I'm only buying gifts for my mom, 2 nephews, and 2 nieces. My mom has been wanting a new crock pot so I'm buying this along with a pork shoulder to simmer all day. My nephews are at the age where they love superheroes, legos, and dinosaurs so shopping for them is gonna be easy. My nieces are a little older so I'll probably just give them so cash so they can buy whatever they want.
I don`t know any family here in Russia which do gifts on Christmas. Big part of population was born and raised in USSR, and communism is not compatible with religion. While I am still atheist, many people turned to church. But there is still no tradition here to do gifts on Christmas. And since orthodox church uses different calendar Christmas takes place after the New Year, and New Year has old strong traditions.
Wife gets a Samsung Galaxy S8 64GB (that was her wish). Oldest daughter gets an RC car (she wished for!). Youngest daughter gets some "baby toys" to play with (I found some cute ones, I hope she'll love them). And I .... dunno.
Would have paid for my parents' flights to our relatives in Canada next year, but as we probably get them to come over, I'm not sure what to do anymore At least I'm paying for a big dinner at Christmas with the closest family.
