Im sure i must've skipped out on a few.....
Well...i've herd fancy stuff about NOD32 but even better about Kaspersky.....

Nortan being the biggest memory hog....
McAfee tOo sharing the same drawbacks as nortan...

Well thats how it goes for me.....
Im using Kaspersky on my current system....it updates so many times in a day phew!!
Its lite , dispite the fact that some people dont think it is....
well one things for sure its truck loads lighter then nortan and MacAfee , dont know if it beats NOD32 in that department....
and its detection rate is the highest....

    One of many such results....

I highly recommend Bit Defender Antiviral Plus 8, It does NOT let ANYTHING in.

i actually like AVG ....whenever i work on someones system and they dont have an AV program(most of them dont)...thats what i usually put on it ....for a totally free program it has amazing detection/removal ability ...its also fairly lite

AVG is my first choice when I need a free AV. For my personal Windows Pro X64 system I use NOD32.

i use avast - blocks good, but it doesn't differentiate whether it is malware, virus, etc, just calls everything a virus

Nod32 is the best I've used but if you are after free anti-virus software, stay away from AVG.

Use AntiVir, although the program itself looks really dodgy and old it catches so many viruses that AVG misses.

Had AVG, but it wouldn't remove a virus on my system so I switched to NOD32...no problems so far

I think all you guys need to give Kaspersky a try....there's a reason why its ranked as the no1 Anti Virus in the world
and thats not me just saying it....

NOD aint bad...but its not better then Kaspersky....
yes it might come to personal prefference...
those who use x64 have very little option...
and those who want a really light tool....would most probably aim for NOD32
and those who...want something...free....could use AVG....
but if any one of you had an option...of picking the best inturms of virus detection and reliability ....pick Kaspersky...because im not the only one that says that.... :D

and those of you that use nortan....get rid of it...imediatelly and thats the only advice i can give....

I use kaspersky but I was thinking about switching over to avast as it is supposedly ranked #1 for detecting stuff
