I have a 3.4 ghz p4 with 1GB DDR2 6800 GT non OC and for some reason im getting low ass FPS in CSS and HL2 like i did stress test with 76.45s and it gave me 34 FPS. im not sure if i dont have it setup right or what but i think i should be getting higher then this.

Have you installed the latest drivers for your video card?

Those modded drivers are fine.......check your settings and see what you have your card set to.....high qual, performace etc. and see what AA and Af are set to and try to turn them down a notch.....bet your card settings are on high quality insead of performance.......

You might want to try the new 73.00's I know there were some fixes for SLI and the like and they might work better for your set up.....

dont see why not, and they are WHQL certified if i am not mistaken.....cant loose....always try diferent drivers when something like this happens....that is what I have done and it works great.....but do get driver cleaner and clean before you install new drivers......I know some will say that they have done this with no problems at all, but do it to be safe.......

    1. delete drivers with file remover in windows
    2. reboot into safe mode and run driver cleaner
    3. reboot and install new drivers
    4. reboot and you are good to go.......

I know it sounds like a lot but it is a failsafe surefire way to put in your new drivers

Are you running at a very high resolution, like 1600x1200 with AA/AF on? That score sounds OK to me with that resolution and settings. If you are getting that at 1024x768, then there must be something else wrong.
