They should have fixed minor bugs off our 12.5 beta like CCC not applying the custom profile properly.

1st) there is not driver needed everything every game is smooth...

2nd) if you are eager for updating go green, faster cards more drivers...

3rd) they are on HUGE planning...drivers is not the only project they work with right now...i don't know exactly, but they are not in really good mood............

lol, typical AMD "wait till the 59th minute of the 11th hour" to release it, they always do, problem is it makes them look like they've been struggling to compile it all month and run out of time, i would like to see them release drivers in the middle of the month that would be nice, or they could get it right for a change and wouldn't have to release that often like nvidia, he he.

You mean how they don't save? I thought it was just me....

It's mostly CF users that have driver troubles, and maybe a few 79xx owners.

...i can't really...tell what is gonna see the light of public...but they are very busy on the driver's department...the delay of 7990...which is ready like ES from Q3 2011...makes me think that they are up on something regarding driver issues on 5xxx,6xxx,7xxx and CFX...:3eyes::)

For me its kinda bugged, when I try to use a predefined profile it will only apply AFR friendly i.e. Disabling Cfx per custom profile did not work either, I had to disable Cfx completely to enjoy BC2 (since the last 2 drivers borked Crossfire for it).

This made me smile! If it only was true :pray2pc:

One bit of hopeful news that I read on another forum is that from tomorrow the 12.6 betas will be available (unless they've decided to skip 12.5 all together...)

Not necessarily. May 25 Andrew D said literally this "Look for new drivers next week :)", which was friday last week. And the "next" week goes all the way to June 3rd.

Let's hope that in a couple hours, but just in case get ready to wait. June 3rd is the deadline really. :-(

Maybe the removing of the 3000, 4000 etc series is taking the most time?

I am not that hopeful, but maybe that means due to a less bloated driver it could help performance?

Or more likely, more optimization for the 5000, 6000, 7000 GPU's?

All this is likely not going to be true....

Torrent the BSOD's with the 7k series are unfortunately farily common when useing 2 or more displays. Not sure if you can help him there since its a bug in the driver code, the 12.6 beta which is said to be released tomorrow morning deals exactly with that issue.

Perhaps. But that's all he said that my friend said that his brother's uncle said that this....

Doubtful, but yes, it is in the realm of possible, for sure.

All series use the same drivers .sys files. If one card (or cards) bsods because of faulty driver under a condition, they all would under same set of circumstances.
