Ah, the sweet spot.
Just installed Mandrake 8.0, whaoh it's great, but lots of stuff don't work. It isn't all that stable either. Anyway, my .02 cents.
I trie linux a couple of times. I'll get back to it as games come around or I'm willing to tinker with making them work.

Okay, I just installed rh linux 7.0 and got it to dual boot with win ME. I tried to change the display settings in the XF86Config file but... no dice, it's stuck in like 600x400 or 640x480. it's getting on my nerves. what do I do?

I have Linux Mandrake 7.2 and im stuck with it forever .. damn it ... can't uninstall it ... internet doesn't work with it...

If i delete the partition where Mandrake is on the OS choser pops up and i dont have any option getting into windows anymore (btw the OS chooser is installed with mandrake (its called GRUB OS chooser) )

well ... mandrake its verry easy to use but if the net doesn't work i dont see the point of keeping it installed ... i have nothing to do on it ..

Ok ... enough talk lets get to work (games)
