so i played in bf2042 and alttabbed and then my fps went from 100 to 20 for few minutes same clock same usage but tdp is 50w obv something is broken. looking for people with same problem to confirm alt tab on gcn4.0 works fine. navi2 related only i guess win 10 21h1 and driver without amd settings happened several times since 22 8 2 driver to 22 9 2
W10 21H1? How come? Were you using Exclusive Fullscreen? Bordeless? Enhanced Sync? What's your monitors refresh rate? Were you using dual monitors? Different refresh rates on them? Have you tried 22.10.1 drivers? Did you do any specific change that's not default for Windows or the drivers? How did you install the drivers without the UI? Through the installer or Device Manager? Helps us out with all the info.
i have win 11 and win 10 same problem exclusive fs no sync 75 hz 1080p hdmi 1.4 clean driver only install through amd installer
looks like when i come back to the game after alttab, the frequency does not rise despite the fact that it shows 2600+mhz
