OK because a friend of mine cant post at the moment i´ll doit for him.

He bought a Gainward 670 GTX.

with 915 /3004 . his boost clock is 980 on paper

Thats the problem i got a 670 GTX Phantom my boost clocks are 1080.

So we tested all programms His card got the same boost clock then mine 1080

if we start heaven benchmark his boost goes up to 1080/ 1097. That cant be right.....
Because my card got the same Boost speeds. both cards arn´t oced

he´s happy with that offcourse but that can´t be .....

You are either unlucky or have a bad airflow in ur case. The kepler boost clock is a lottery, i got two gigabyte gtx 670 oc and my boost clocks are 1200 and 1176. Not overclocked. I had a msi gtx 680 before that and my boost clock was 1080.

My 680 @ stock hits 1084 boost while some people get 1100+ boost. Like said before, it's a lottery. It's like overclocking, some cards can be oc'd to higher clocks than others. Best you can do is lowering your temps since Kepler cards throttle their clocks at a certain temp (around 70-75°C).

The boosting feature is seriously messed up.
Mine will not boost to 1084MHz unless it's exactly between 62 and 70C (both included).
It will start to downclock if it's hotter, but also if it runs cooler.

My 670 boost clock hits 1176 at stock settings but my 670 has 680 base clock.
