Turn off 4G Decoding, its the sauce of your huge FPS loss.
Just with Vulcan and just in this game? Was it the same for you? How did you find this out?
Can you prove the opposite otherwise? Those features enabled what do they offer you? Do you need them? End users have the tendency to enable whatever they can.
It's just a PCIe capability. By default there should be no difference, right? Do you lose FPS by enabling it?
Capability != Compatibility
Some settings are immature, yet, for a global defaulting.
only on cards that don't have bios rebar support.
But only on Zen, it seems like.
Been usually using Vulkan and haven't had issues but I also normally cap my FPS to 60fps using RivaTuner so don't typically see any performance difference both are locked to 60fps. I ran unlocked for a while but the game had some bad stuttering with unlocked fps, preferred the smooth fps over slightly faster frame rate.
Just looking over the forums to see if a new driver released and saw one is supposed to come out today March 22nd. Anyone got it yet that can provide a download link? Thanks
Still not available. Maybe soon.
Anyone seen new info when they going to release them ?
March 22nd driver is the 462 hotfix.
Next driver is March 30th at the earliest (Disco Elysium GRD i believe)
He talks about a DEV driver (CUDA WSL) which was supposed to be released yesterday since it is stated right on the download page , but it hasn't came out yet. Nvidia fooled us lol
