I wil have to do some more testing but i like what im seeing with these except rage 2.
Do you have HAGS enabled by any chance?
I did yea, is that the cause of the crash?
yeah i'm seeing some improvements specially in blender and the optix API.
Horizon zero down sow a nice boost for me around 8fps more and more smooth it touches 60fps more times now.) And deah stranding runs very smooth to keepers for now
It's possible I suppose. On my machine HAGS always had issues with browsers, initially it caused BSODs which later evolved into TDR driver crashes.
Doesn't seem to happen on newer WHQL anymore, but since WSL is a different branch TDRs still happen on this one (and older WSL) for me so I have to disable HAGS with WSL drivers.
Thanks, I guess removing Firefox from the performance list of apps under HAGS would work too rather than completely disabling it?
You mean the "graphics performance preference" setting? Pretty sure it's unrelated to HAGS.
HAGS is system-wide option so you can't blacklist specific apps from it as far as I know.
Ah OK I just assumed they were related as I never saw any apps in there until I enabled HAGS a couple weeks back
How good are these with pascal and 20H2? saw improvements on pascal, but on insiders builds, what about 20H2?
i hope ManuelG sees this and reports it to Driver team.
There is nothing legitimate in this video to report.
neither of the cards in this video are intended for 1080p,
both of them power save aggressively at ridiculously low resolutions.
Well there's always room for optimization, in the past (pascal era and before) nvidia driver had much less overhead compared to radeon on all cpu bound situations and majority of games
oh wow.. i was not aware of my electricity bill for my GTX card is paid by nvidia until now.
thank you maybe you are not naughty this time
They haven't demonstrated an overhead scenario, thats the problem.
Nvidia System information still shows DirectX feature level: 12_1
12_2 is not finalized by microsoft yet.
Can you fill out the driver feedback form below please so we can look into it?
