OK, I did that last night in anticipation of being able to test it today, but probably no build this week, so I won't know if it helped or not.

    My system doesnt like these.

    1x bsod c0x50 ntskrnl.exe
    1x hard freeze

bsod happend when friend quit steam chat while ingame using destiny2 mic mode, other hard freeze was ingame. Haven't seen anything like that with older 465.xx or now back to 461.40.

21H2 is way too late. I think we will see 12.2 and WDDM 3 with H1.

    wddm 3.0 works for me

461.40 dxdiag showed directx 12 ultimate as disabled
    465.42 shows it enabled now

dunno what that even is but sounds cool

This driver is still better for me than new hotfix 461.51. The hotfix one still restarts my PC in Vulkan games and this one is not.

    seems like a mistake

dx12 ultimate has been supported by every driver since 450

only Turing, Ampere and RDNA2 support ultimate.

I'm not on any insider/fast ring with Windows, just wanted to drop a line to say that these drivers are working *perfectly* for me. That's across all games and otherwise. I installed them over the 461.40 without a fuss and it automatically installed the control panel with the first reboot. Haven't found any issues at all. I have a resizable BAR Bios installed on my Z390 Master, just waiting on a firmware flash for my TUF 3080 to support it.

The only drawback to jumping on 'dev' drivers is that a person needs to go full DDU in order to go back to general release builds again. No biggie, just a pain to setup custom resolutions again. One thing I wish this 'scene' was more on top of was custom .INF files for some of the more common tv's being used out there. This 3080 seems more finicky about 'seeing' all the supportable res/Hz options, and forces 8bit/RGB/Full in cases where my 2070 had more options on the table. Luckily HDR is still more or less a joke in Windows, so current HDMI limitations aren't a serious problem yet.

I'm not sure why, but don't. I can go from DCH to non DCH and these dev drivers and regular builds without using DDU.... I went from 465.42 which black screened MSFS 2020 to the standard set of 461.51 with a simple, non clean, over the top install. In the past I always had to use DDU to go between them..... very weird.
