I am currently in the process up upgrading I have bought a Western Digital Black SN850.
I was looking at a Asus Prime Z690M-Plus micro ATX Motherboard
Would this board be a good fit for the M.2 Drive and would it run at full speed

The board has 3 m.2 slots. You will get best performance on the one connected straight to the CPU and not the two routing through PCH.
