    Since when HDDs are capable of transferring more than 625 MB/s?

    Even 4 HDDs in Raid0 can't go above USB3 data transfer rate.

    Yup it seems real world performance of usb 3.0 and thunderbolt is pretty darn similar on normal disk drives. And with SSD it is negligible while at times being bit faster...
