I like whiskey a lot ever since my mother brought several little (200 ml) bottles from tourist trip to Britain. I favour whiskey with smoky scent most of all. Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Talisker are my favourite ones. Recently I discovered another "peated" distilleries - Ardbeg, Bowmore, Ardmore, Benriach, Tobermory, Tomintoul, Bruichladdich and Caol Ila - though I did not taste them yet. Acnoc also does produce a smoky whiskey but a scent is a little too shallow.
All mentioned distilleries are a Scotch ones. Guys, do you happen to know whether there are smoky whiskey made in Ireland, Canada, USA?

Edit: Ok, I`ve found Connemara - distillery from Ireland.
