Hello, From what I have seen, Aidens running animation has been changed alot of times. I think that the best one is from the PS4 Gameplay Premiere where his running was "normal" if I say so. And the camera kinda zoomed out a little bit while he was running, like in The Worse mod. If someone could manage to make it work in game that would be great ! I also have the video if someone wants to see the old running.

( used to trian in parkour so i know this kind of stuff ) It would be awesome if this running animation could be done!

He's sorta running like in e3 2012 when you toggle 'walk' mode with both hands in pockets and start running, the first 1-2 sec of animation will be like e3 2012 run, then he changes anim to final one.
Yeah, and if you go to the bunker and climb up on the containers infront of you where you spawn and you run, you can see that animation for like 3 seconds before you fall down. It looks like he is bending forward a little bit.
old runing and walking animation from E3 are still in the game, but they are used as transition animation now, if you run for a bit then start walking you'll see the old E3 walking animation, same if you are standing then start walking you'll see it, its more evident from standing > walking, but dosnt happen everytime you can mess with aiden animation in this file : \windy_city_unpack\engine\scripts\engine\objects\pawn\statemachine\ main_avatar.gosm.xml i tried to use the transition animation as a normal walking animation but it dosnt work, aiden freez after 3sc of walking or running, and it look weird without his coat having the proper E3 physix , wich may explain why they changed the animation and camera angle to hide the fact that the coat is nearly sticked to his low back compared to E3
The animations that you showed is the same as the one in the e3 demo. What ubisoft did is make you run differently when you are holding the pistol or not. They changed it now so running with or without a pistol is the same animation
interesting how they changed it and now it's only transitional. i have seen him put his hands out to help him vault objects a few times in game but he doesn't do it al the time. and he'll also kick a foot up on a side wall at times too when climbing up things fast.
Why did you even bother going this deep to just bump just to state something that is obvious today? That was 3 years ago man?
