^ Propably not possible because its stored in one of the "data blocks" like zmodeler said
also it crashes with the coat models (or atleast for me)

Why the harsh cut ending on his hair? Have you saved the texture without proper alpha channel?

Also, you could not really need a proper .xbgmip from the game, you can create a dummy one yourself and the game wouldn't notice, however I don't know how ZModeler would react. Anyway download the loose files of my Beretta mod and rename the dummy .xbgmip that I've created for it, if you wanna try: http://www.mediafire.com/download/df06m4r1t0fqe78/WD_92FS_Mod_by_The_Silver_Loose_Files.rar

Wow , i didn't know that dummy xbgmip would fix it... thanks for the files but i can create one myself
Also i already made a better texture , im editing the speculars here to make it shorter
its bit hard due to UV Map

Editing the speculars to make it shorter? What the speculars have to do with the hair lenght?

I don't know , Speculars work like alpha's for some reason
For example try char 01 hair v1_s and replace it with v2 , now you will have fuxed up hair

Are you saying that the dummy trick doesn't work for ZModeler? If so please send me the dummy that you've created.

Ok I checked the hair specular texture and it's a little more complex than you think. WD shaders (like many moders shaders) uses a texture mask that is a composition of masks placed in different color channels. For example if you open the char01_hair_s texture and separate the RGB channels you will immediately notice that the specular mask is in the RED channel, the GREEN channel is empty, and the BLUE channel is used as the alpha mask. So if you wanna properly edit the transparency of the hair without ruining the specular you should edit only the BLUE channel of the s texture.
Just separate the RGB channels of the texture so you get 3 greyscale textures, edit the blue as if it's the usual alpha channel mask, and then mix the 3 channels again in the final s texture. ;)

PS: The weird look of a lot of the textures in WD is due to this modern shaders work, they are usually three greyscale masks placed on the R G and B channels of a color texture. For example the weapon textures are exactly like this, their texture looks weird but ingame it's so different exactly for this reason. So you better start looking at textures this way otherwise if you edit them without separating the channels you will ruin their masks.

It crashes ZModeler or crashes the game? It could be the same weird problem that I encountered when trying to edit weapon models other than the Px4. :(

OK so it seems like the correct way to do it is editing EVERY single LOD Level
^ Found by KAOS , i didn't test it myself but it works for him when he edits every LOD Level , while editing one it crashes like in my game
The problem is , i need the xbgmip because this hair has only 2 lod levels (Default + Xbgmip)

My game had crashes when i edited the Model's LOD (Level of detail)
The cau03 head has 5 lod levels
    L0 , L1 , L2 , L3 , L4
L0 is the lod level from xbgmip
L1 is the highest quality lod level from the .xbg
L2 3 and 4 are the lower quality models that are rendered in the long distance
Before i was editing the L0 which made the game crash
When editing the L1 it works fine
Here i edited the Cau03.xbg and put it on aiden (Smaller eye's and nose)
i have an idea how to edit the hair too and make it shorter , me and kaos are also working on the E3 Mask model that is "Higher" from the back
Currently im working on the E3 Hair model while Kaos works on the Mask Model

Thank you very much. :) So it means that the LOD0 of any WD model cannot be edited otherwise the game crashes right?

The dummy trick does work with zmodeler, that's how I got flyerguy to load a few pages ago.

    Wait.

Did I only show that to ModAiC, or did I post that here too?
