I've tweaked it so there is still detail seen within dark areas, Pawnee is still a little dark at night though.

    Great! Sounds awesome. :)

Ok here's a mirror for his screenshot (http://www90.zippyshare.com/i/6ATn2LXK/821937/243470_screenshots_20170109205908_1.jpg) and here's the article that I was referring to:

(Just to clarify, I am still modding the game somewhat, I'm now just tweaking the colourgrading with Reshade, since colorgrading.lib doesn't do anything)

Is there too much sharpening in this?:

IMHO the sharpening is still quite hight, especially looking at his coat and face.

Okay, how is the sharpening now?:

The sharpening also adapts to the environment (it avoids areas which are flatter, and brings the detail out in places with detail)

It's still quite high, I'm afraid.
If you look at either Aiden's face, or the light post on the left you may get an idea of the sharpness. Whatever you have it set to in Reshade, say.. 0.30, try changing it down to 0.20. It could also be something with your monitor's sharpness. Make sure it's set to 50.

Side note: You're getting quite close imo to the E3 build, so keep up the good work!

Yep, the main character, the wet road on the left, and the lamp post on the right are still screaming "way too high!" :O

I think it looks good now.

But remember that using FXAA or another blurry AA counters the sharpness, so actually if you use this preset with FXAA it should look fine, maybe even with sharpness a bit higher.

This is the reason why the DoT Connexion mission is at night, rather than at sunset:

I got my first Nvidia Gpu recently and the above mod works. What a relief, no more of that annoying flashing outline on trains and train stations and some other objects. I had Radeons before so the mod won't work on those cards. Wish the white glowing/flashing at intersections would go away but I'm still another satisfied customer of this mod.

Btw the quote is from a post in this thread not from another older modding thread. It's the first post of this thread so if you want the mod instructions just go back to post #1 and scroll down to the text I quoted for the rest of the info.

Can be fixed by editing exposure for daytime in environment lighting (some interior xml). The devs just didn't bother setting it, they just added the same value for complete day.
