Watch_Dogs - General moding

    Before that we was able to make only the dynamic lights Red & Blue. But we couldn't make Red & Blue police lensflares. Because the game don't use the dedicated xml-file for Red lensflare, it use only Blue xml for both police lamps.
    With my fix the game will use Red lensflare xml for left police lamp.

    Can you post here the values that you use in your Clear, Rain and Storm environment settings (6 weather presets) in windycity.game.xml please.

    Hey you were the one who discovered how to convert hidkey to unsigned long. You are supposed to know the value. Anyway i used eelaunch for clear and storm stays as default. i used e3 only for testing purpose.

    no problem man, also just an fyi... The environment lighting can affect the atmosphere ( color ) of the game too.

    Oh yes...indeed...Compare the opening shot of the E3 2012 with the retail footage when sun-set. It's a huge difference...but the most, and obvious one, is this darker, colder in my opinion more bluish look. Good to compare when Aiden crossing the streets towards the Ambrose theatre.

    I just didn't understand exactly what you ment by "relaunch" and "e3 preset", are they xml-files or Environment/Weather Preset names in windy_city.xml?
    If you were talking about xmls then you have to be more specific about it because in envlighting.lib there's a lot of xmls with "E3" word in their names.

    Now you telling that you used E3 for testing while before that you said "E3 preset edited". So confusing.

    I just don't wanna waste my time on figuring out what values should I use in my windy_city.xml to actually see your new Env lighting in the game.

    I just wanna download your work, add it to my patch and see it in action.

    Just be more specific next time.

    Sorry for being so careless... I used relaunch.2012..xml as default lighting preset and e3.clear.lighting.xml for testing purpose. Others stay the same.

    PS: Youve got to forgive me for i m staying at school not and unavaible to check or continute my work.

    Is there any possibillity to open .mab files for example. I mean those files which are accountable for Aiden's walking anims? I mean .mab files are actually mozillas adress books, aren't they? But I gues that animations are not really .mab files. So what they have to be renamed for to decrypt them somehow?

    ther's no software to open them, they are indeed animation files, some other games use that extention too

    But how some People managed then, to ''access'' them and tweak them...so that Aiden's walking anim's now are much more closer to the versions back then?

    They were already in the game files, nobody tweaked them, just enabled them.

    Does anyone know about files like vistadescription.dat? There is only dat, no fat files. How would we be able to access what is inside?

    that fats are probably in those unknown folders somewhere...
    We need 100% file list!
