You can't say TonyMBR's textures are better. It's just an updated Maldo Texture fix that allows to play with Ultra textures without stuttering on 2gb GPUs.

I noticed that the fog glitch is happening after that fix. The one that has the fog surround you and makes your view distance 2 cm infront of you.

also the back anamorhpic backlights dont work

 

as soon as it starts to rain, the problem still remains ....

 

Can i have a full description of what happens and how it happens. You are not giving full detail, just shots.

 

I resume playing from motel, immediately begins to rain and just go in a shady area, everything becomes so black that is unplayable in that area. And it also seems that the lamps almost completely lose their effectiveness.

 

i got the sam problem like him, sometime it get really dark in the alley, owl hotel and under bridges, and some time the headlight effect is gone, and the foggy weather i can see anything because it to bright

important clarification, the problem is only with the rain in the daytime, at night it's all ok

 

I didn't noticed it because I thought It was normal, even if it was annoying. But no. Indeed it's occurs only during rain (that I was testing), not at night.

Otherwise, apart the fact you can't buy clothes (I don't want to buy characters, it kills immersion and story), I didn't see other issues.

 

ultimately, I can say that in my opinion it should be redone lighting when it rains in daytime (too dark). And the sun has to disappear when it rains very strongly

No thank you for your awesome work. I´ve got the same problems though: Only Rain, way too dark when it rains and thats what it does all the time.
At least I finally fixed the problem with the hackable objects flashing.

So Puredorian is there still hope to get at least the walking animation bug free, even though the Headbob would still be missing? Because I would prefer the slower but ten times better E3 2012 Walking animation.
What has to be done that you could get it working?

The problem is, there is no software to edit anims correctly, to make it different, unless someone write those tools/decompilers specificly for .mab/.bin format, nothing can be done with animations, it's just the way it is

We need Engine Tools, but Ubisoft will never EVER give them.

So I would leave any hopes for better animations/headbob, unless I see the light in the end of the tunnel, which probably wouldn't happen.

I already fixed this by myself. But removing/modifying items.lib is not enough. You have to fix the "supertexture" directory too to correct the HUD in the shop.

I completely removed the "supertexture" folder, so that I can get rid of the old interface, that doesn't please me (icons on map or objectives icons are not intuitive).

 

Yeah, I'm sorry to hear about icons, but to make them like vanilla quality needs more knowledge in photoshop, which I dont have

No it wasn't, can't talk about that.

 

I saw a similar issue with rain at night too. So you can too give it a shot.

 

Somebody here has probably knowledge on Photoshop/Gimp/Paint.NET. You can too use free pictures from the web.
