    New Extra HQ Mod 3.1 for 3d vision Users.

    Attention
    Do not complain about performance on Ultra Graphics settings
    Using high, medium and low is just fine and optimized for best visual quality.

    Instructions: Use all files included for best experience

    This version contains my tweaked setting with much higher lods,resolutions,
    tessellations, particles, and much more whiles using ULtra graphics settings.
    This version is really heavy on my system and I cant promise performance gains on Ultra.
    I did my best to optimised and I made sure that no unnecessary additions were made. The
    mod will still be quite playable using high graphics settings while ultra settings
    have the highest noticeable changes on all aspects

    Use the included gamerprofile.
    Use the included sweetfx as well

    Recommended Systemspecs: GTX780TI, I7 CPU. 16GB RAM. or equivalent

    List of changes and modifications:

    - Latest Ubisoft patch included
    - Ultra sharp textures for High texture setting
    - Mdified Ultra textures
    - New HQ lensflares for all flares and spotlights
    - Modified cubemaps for nicer placeholder reflections
    - All train related lights have been fixed
    - Better lighting effects
    - Even Higher view distances
    - Even Higher texture polls
    - Even Higher LODs,
    - Better rain effects
    - Even Higher shadow quality,
    - Even Higher decals
    - Natural ambient lighting
    - Higher quality reflections
    - Better HQ particles
    - Improved lighting and bloom

    Mod specific changes:

    SMAA = Vanilla Temporal SMAA
    TemporalSMAA = 2xTemporalSMAA not recommended due to stutter
    FXAA = SMAA
    NO AA = FXAA

    Graphics settings changes

    HMBAO = High Quality downsampled SSAO
    No Ambient Occlusion = HMBAO
    Low = Vanilla medium optimized by me
    Medium = Vanilla High optimized by me
    High = Vanilla Ultra optimized by me
    Ultra = Uber Ultra optimized for the extra HQ version (Heavy with both Ultra and High textures)

    Recommended Graphics settings changes

    Calibration = 25 to 35
    Max prerendered frames = 1 to 2
    Vsync = off
    Use High textures and High graphics settings
    Antialiisiog for Ultra textures = Smaa or MSAA 2x or 4X

    Nvidia Controlpanel

    Ambient Occlussion = quality
    Anisotropic Filtering = 16x
    Antiailising FXAA = on
    Texture filtering negative lod bias = clamp for better image quality
    Texture filtering quality = High quaility
    Tripple Buffering = on
    Vertical Sync = Adaptive

    Graphics settings recommendations

    Ultra graphics + Ultra textures settings specs = 4GB 780TI or 290X or higher recommended
    Do not use ultra unless you have the specs above. Also make a shortcut of the game and go
    to properties and paste this att the end of target

    -disablepagefilecheck -cpuCount=4 -exThreads=4

    I believe that you may now be able to turn off DOF and still see it during
    cinematics

    Beaware that you may even play with Low and medium graphics settings whitout any major
    lost in visual quality and huge performance gains.

    Beaware FPS will go down when using Ultra textures.

    Known bugs from Extra HQ

    -Graphics glitch when switching graphics settings in game
    -Solution restart or quit to menu in order to make graphics settings changes
    -potential crash when using uber ultra due to overload

    Smaa + no sweetfx + Ultra textures + Medium graphics settings[/B]

    Is it possible to use 100 percent depth with no artifacts?

    I did see them, nice indeed.. how would u normally set the the right convergence.. I was playing mass effect the other day and it it was awesome with 100 percent depth but somehow the shadows and water were missed up and there was ghosting issues around the characters even tho the game is listed as "excellent by" Nvidia.

    Well some games just have issues but watch dogs do not have this issue plus it WD uses a special 3d technique that looks different from real 3d but it allows the game to not drop fps and be free of bugs, same 3d used in crysis 3, bioshock infinite. I mean the new 3d technique from nvidia

    this improved sli for me a little while using my mod

    Nvida Control Panel

    Ambient Occlussion = Performance
    Anisotropic Filtering = 16x
    Texture filtering quality = High Performance
    Tripple Buffering = on
    Vertical Sync = Adaptive

    Rest should be default

    And download my sweet fx from here to get a nice light effect ;)
    https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=4CE2D04ABEAD30B2!163

    If using Txaa2x use this for sharpening:

    #define sharp_strength 1.50
    #define sharp_clamp 0.25
    #define pattern 1
    #define offset_bias 1.05

    If using my custom SMAA use this for sharpening:

    #define sharp_strength 0.45
    #define sharp_clamp 0.25
    #define pattern 1
    #define offset_bias 1.05

    I hope it make the game nicer for you too. By the way the game seems to crash when using 3d and sweetfx just so you know:banana::)

    I'm gonna try that for sure, the stuttering is just ruining my exp with this game :(

    Yes it is haha. I notice that I see less ghosting when using the subtle atmosphere. I guess the cooler colors produced less image contrast and therefore reduce ghosting :) too bad I cant use sweetfx at the same time with this game:wanker:

    I personally Love 3d and wash hogs has no performance hit on 3d:)

    Hey to those who play 3d vision just know that this community still matters. As thanks to helix and the others I will upload some files to this thread, dedicating them to make 3d better for watchdogs the purpose will be better 3d coloring and sharper textures for better detail when playing on 3d:)

    I feel bad that the guys at helix are quiting. I owe them so much:wanker:
