I just compiled a version of my Mod (that is just a sequel to Marduk's merge) with increased people and Txgt's Medium DOF. I'll upload it this evening. The DOF used is the preview version of txgt's Medium DOF.
There are lots of mod folders to add for the Marduk's installer version and I don't know if I have to use all of them (don't think so), half of them or what Maybe I'll wait for the KuroTenshi's last updated version (with medium DOF) Btw, I'm using the K-putt'e Config 1.3 sweetfx preset on windows 8.1 pro x64 (radeonpro) Thanks for the infos

ho, i thinkyou mean the FoC iinstaller. there you should make your choice wich effects you will add /overwrite. it will work withaany mod, or vanilla patch.fat /dat file by using the mod patcher. , it's neccessary to have patch.fat and dat file located using the mod patcher will merge the chosen effects (less fog, always rain, etc) with the exsisting files. itwill make a backup of the old vversion in the folder where the mod patcher folder is located. hope this helps
As a simple fix, you can use a SweetFX preset : If you want to keep Marduk's atmosphere : http://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/2674/ Or otherwise : http://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/1686/ You can too try my merge (a continuation of Marduk's work). Hey, guys, I'm new here. I appreciate all the work done so far. I have some doubts. - I've been using Marduk's Merged Mod and I see his sun lensflare (that rainbow ring-like) is missing. What's the file for it? I want to merge these file, tried sun_lensflare_d.xbt but no success. - I also noticed some shadows are flickering or distorted in vehicles. How can I fix it? - And, about reflections in cars, I noticed it's much better in Sunset Textures. - Oh, and anamorphic police lens flare. Do you know which are all those specific files so I can merge it, too? Thx in advance.
hi 1. sun_lensflare. xbt file is located in graphics/textures/lights (its in the mod but actual not visible, i actually dont have time to fix it, but it could only be 2 reason take other bloom.lib or search in ddefaultrenderconfig.xml. for a line called dky or god rays try to enable them, maybe i forget it before repacking) 2. flickering, try set shadows to high instead ultra (high is vanilla ultra ) (sunset use own edited defaultrenderconfig.xml, with other reflection / shadow setting) 3. Most textures are sunset v4 4. amorphic... Boss e3 flares have it in a light effect (the blue/red roof light effect ) or ask txgt. He is making it more intensiveand better.... sorry for bugged version, but maybe you try the updated v from kuro tenshi instead. I dont have time to fix actually... sorry
Ok, thx, I made it all fixed, except sun lens flare. I tried to enable all the day, but no success. I also tried updated kuro tenshi's but it's disabled. I'm at a loss. Edit: oh, I forgot! I noticed blackout is too bright! How can I fix it to make it darker? It doesn't even resemble a blackout.
hi, i fixed the issues. start upload now. if you mean this sun flare, its integrated. PS i used Realistic Preset for Watch_Dogs Created by piterrrxd for this pic also blackout brightness is fixed, also improved some.

hi, i only modified the Merged. updated sun flare and blackout brightness : edit windy_city.game.xml (the Sun flare wasnt visible incause of sunglare_start angle & ... end_angle was set to 180 and 185,now 0 and 5) reduce the flickering time after blackout some rain / wettness / shadow map tweaks I dont add - mlleemiles enviromentlightning.lib, because its to dark in night and bright at day for me - i dont add essenthys reflections, because i couldnt get to find the source :-( - i dont add that gye over there s sky.lib, i didnt had enough time to testing it.

I will test the change !. - It's normal this enviromentlightning.lib is dark at night and bright in day if you use Realistic Preset SweetFx (for example) that increases a lot contrasts. It's the same things for presets that use Levels or too much DPX. I find it so much more realistic and I used it too because It darkened nights and blackouts - For the reflections it's modified textures, so you can't find it unless you get the rar file : http://www.mediafire.com/download/0gok1s23rs1msfr/reflection_v2.rar I'll upload my (your) fixed version (about 5h of upload). At last, a real night and blackout ! I let visibility for gameplay though.
ah, thanks i tried the eenvironmentlighting.lib without and. with sfx . and yes very realistic at night, but too much. maybe it s a problem of other fenvironmenlightning=**** in windy_city.game.xml....
Yes it can be a problem, but it can be too a matter of tastes My Brightness setting is at 50. To me, blackout must have an effect other than anti-piracy. You can still see, but opponent have opportunity to sneak ^^
