It's the shader problem again. Just set in Graphics Settings "Shader" to "Low" and you will see the light.:)

I think it should not be like that:

Checked it on Ultra, High and Low textures - it's all the same.
    Textures problem?

this is really weird, i don't use Marduk mod, I use a mash up of almost all of the other peoples stuff, plus changes that i have done myself, i do not experience any of this, lol

I am currently working on a new sweetfx, will come out with some new screenshots in a while, will also include the newer version of my sweetfx when i post the screens, stay tuned ;)

Alright, I promised to upload the new SweetFX. Here is the link, there are tons of shot comparisons so you can get a good idea as to how it will look. Keep in mind that I use a different lighting than Marduk and also have Digital Vibrance on, so it may look different to you. I turned off Digital Vibrance and still thought that it looked great so i uploaded it. SO... Here is the link to the page. http://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/2485/
Hope you guys like it! :D

Really cool ! But what if we get hacked in a dark area ? This preset is unbalanced for multiplayer as we are in a disadvantage with other players.

the reason could only be located in defaultrenderconfig.xml
    or windy_city.game.xml

    its not a colorgradingColorGrading=***, clorgrading.lib, or enviromentlightning.lib

yea i already had that bug a while ago, its from windy_city.xml, but i have no idea wich settings it was, most likely the reflection settings at the very end or the weather presets

as you can see from the screenshots, everything is still visible. I have played multiplayer and had no problems what so ever. Here is the environment lighting i use https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=F32A283C6F5446AE&id=F32A283C6F5446AE!124, it makes the game look really good without it being too dark. I have not tested this preset with Marduks' environment lighting but I would suspect that there would not be a huge difference. Bottom line, not too dark. :)

    Is this visible ? : http://sfx.thelazy.net/games/screenshot/15466/

It's your screenshot. I have very good monitors in term of color fidelity.

EDIT : It's amazing in fact. I didn't realized it was a BlackOut. The problem remains other users that still see things in blackout (they shouldn't of course).

Im not at home, try to fix so fast if i can.

I wonder why it worked correctly in low shader settings

This would not be able to be put in a next version as it goes into the bin not into a patch file in Datawin64
It could be included in the next FOC though, but it would have to have instructions for placing it in the BIN and not into the patch folder. Don't want that to happen.

Also, concerning my Preset, the reason you said it was too dark was because of the blackout and you just did not realize that it was a blackout?
Or do you think that it is still too dark? Because if that is the case, i can make a preset with HDR included...

As I said (I edited my post when I realized it was a blackout), realistically speaking, your preset is good. The issue is other people that challenges you in multiplayer and don't use your SweetFX preset. If a player use a Blackout, opponents will be able to see while we will not. So we will have handicaps in multiplayer with your preset.

So, to balance the game in multi, it would be indeed nice to have something less dark, to be able to see enough to match others, while keeping the basics of a blackout.

I know it's hard, but your preset makes the game unplayable in multi. So we can't use it, apart if we choose to completely disable multi and stick only to the solo.

ah, i see. well, I will make a different preset then, one that has the same image quality as this current one, but lighter.
I guess it will be called Real E3 Experience Multi-player edition.
Will come back with that preset in hand ;)

Thank you for your efforts and your understanding.
Unfortunately I'll be able to test it only tomorrow evening. I am not currently at home.
