Once again with the size of the game..
14GB = EN only
23GB = Multilanguage
Actually it is for those that have 4GB cards, in order to max everything out(Ultra textures/MSAA).
Is that AB in those pics?
how can you get CPU temps in there to? newer version maybe? I'm still on v2.2.5.
This is going to be fun, i'm about to get my PSU from someone and try run this game on a E8400@3ghz, 2gb ram, GTX560 Ti 1gb.
Ultra@60fps amirght? :nerd:
Can someone test performance with this tweak http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=389072 ?
22GB wow. That's so much. Cannot wait for this game :banana:
Let me know how that goes as I'm not far from you spec wise c1:
Looking at the files, if I was to delete the Brazilian, French, German, Italian and Spanish Sound_xxxx.Dat & Sound_xxx.fat files I would get 7.29Gb back, so I guess with that in mind it is possible to shrink your install down to about 14Gb.
Hmm must go have a look at a few other games, see how many it's possible to knock off the extra bulk and save some space.
There's another load of language files also in the Worlds Folder, which gives another 764mb.
With all of those moved out the Install Dir becomes 13.9Gb.
i tried it with my 8gb 2400Mhz
the game instantly sucked up 6.3gb of it and ran like a snail, removed the tweak and back to normal
game runs well for me on medium textures with no AA but steady ~50fps
only gripe is the game crashes after 5-10mins of play but hey ho i cant complain
will buy it next week or so anyhow
thank you, for information.
Does the game support Crossfire and SLI?
Can any1 confirm?
They work, they just need a patch or a driver update.
Agrr. So wahts the gameplay like then.
Will do, i'm just installing the GPU, reboot, close up my case.
Did you get a new card?:banana:
AB 3.0.0 was released some days ago, it's not beta either and it has tons of new options for OSD, it pretty much fills 1/4 of your screen if you enable them all lol. It also has support for 64-bit games, OSD didn't use to work in those. (MSI Kombustor was replaced by RivaTunerStatisticsServer)
I pity those who bought a GTX690 for ~1000$ and can't enjoy the game at max settings because of the 2GB Vram..
1440p - textures on high, FXAA & HBAO high, rest on ultra and I'm using averagely 2900MB of Vram, sometimes completely maxing my 3GB. I set GPU max buffered frames to 2 which I think helped the slight stuttering I was getting. I'm running it off of my SSD aswell. Frame rate is mainly at 60FPS on foot but when driving it varies quite a bit.
Liking it so far. The cops take quite a bit of running away from to shake sometimes, you can end up at the other side of the map!
Are you done apologizing?
Lol. But still, early days, even though this game looks about as exciting as cleaning myself with the highest of high-grit sandpaper, i think waiting for the release and no doubt day 1 patch or drivers would be a better time to judge.
Okay, a new driver or a patch may improve the framerate..But Vram requirements aren't going to change.The framerate is fine, the problem is the Vram limitation..
