Do you have both MSAA and Motion Blur enabled?
Because that will create a ghosting effect.
Hmmm, I believe I do. I'll try disabling motion blur and see if that does the trick.
I saw 580 to the left
I just disabled surround and went with 780 SLI and maxed everything possible and got less then 20fps
Thanks man, that was it.
Has anyone here successfully managed to get SweetFX working? I've tried the only two available and neither of them seem to work in-game. That, or they simply cause the game to crash at start up.
Radeon Pro didn't seem to help either.
on the left is my old pc,
now update my information.
using this software to take screenshot
same processor as me and I got >20
were you using these SAME SETTINGS(excluding res ofc)
Does anyone know how to get SweetFX working with this game? I can't for some reason and I've tried a bunch of binaries. It simply doesn't work even after turning off fraps and msi afterburner.
Yup, it doesn't work me either. But apparently some people have somehow managed to get it working. I've tried K-putts and Danny's presets and none of them work for me, but they work for them.
This game would REALLY benefit from a good sweetfx preset.
I just got DirtyDan's working somehow, not sure what I did though. I hope you get it working! Agreed on the benefit of a mod like this, here's hoping someone enables texture modding to really improve the look of the game.
After using the tweaks here my game looks pretty good. Runs sluggish though.
If I run the game in full screen all the trees flip out and shake as if they were being blown by an F5 tornado.
Did you download this link and extract it to your bin folder by any chance? It's from his instructions.
I get the "this game has stopped working" error every time I try to launch it with this one.
Pretty sure I've got "Swfx_Injector_20130601" and then I installed his "Watch Dogs 1.3.zip" on top of it or something like that, I haven't downloaded the file in your link(sorry but I can't post direct links yet). I just tried launching with Fraps enabled and I did get a CTD though so I guess that was my issue, MSI afterburner seems to work with it though so I can use that for screenshots.
My aa is fxaa ,vsync is frame 1,buffered frame is 2 ,then open the supersampling on gameprofile.xml
And the other settings are same
oh I see.
This guy posted these on NeoGaf. As you said, it definitely has an impact but it's subtle. With the tweak off:
Then with it on:
As you can see, the lighting is more dynamic with it on. There's also more particles from that explosion.
I'm getting the game on release day so I will check to see whether they changed that setting in the code after the patch.
Does supersampling actually work when enabled through the .xml?
For me this game works good, but only on High.
As soon as I set Ultra fps goes up/down.
@Carfax, that's a pretty marked difference. Definitely noticeable.
Decided to post a few screens. I don't understand why so many people are complaining about this games visuals or the textures for that matter.
Sure there are some flat, low-res textures if you look for them (every game has them unfortunately) but for the most part the game has very detailed and some high-res texture work from what I've seen thus far.
Now if only I could get sweetfx to work! :bang:
The game has been great so far. But it has quite a few bugs/glitches at the moment as well.
Certain graphics settings seem to conflict with each other. Extremely poor performance, even on higher-end rigs. Inexplicable stuttering issues (I'm not reaching my VRAM limit either) etc.
Kind of ridiculous considering this game was delayed for 6 additional months.....:bang:
2gb VRAM is not enough for ultra textures infact it looks like 3gb isn't enough either
i was gonna get a 2gb gtx760 now i will have to wait longer to save for a 4gb+ card
