You should try to set one or all of the three Graphics Quality settings (LOD, Reflections, Shadows) to "High". Start with the shadows. If it doesn't help then also set LOD or Reflections to "High". If you still have FPS drops then set all three to "High". In my mod "High" is much better than "Vanilla Ultra".

Oh, I had only tried setting all three to HIGH , still had drops, it must be a CPU thing. So medium is vanilla ultra? I'm gonna try medium later. I doubt its the gtx 970, because those drops are below 30 fps, both on ULTRA and HIGH, AA doesn't matter. It must be CPU.

I'm just gonna say that despite this game is pretty demanding, there's still many cases of when it's really not optimized, you even get worse on AMD Cpu's, and even AMD Gpu's, so your best bet is just capping 30 fps and playing on it, with drops here and there.

Yeah, but without this mod I basically never drop below 30 fps, even with TXAA x4. There must be one thing in this mod that when enabled makes CPU its little bitch. I cant look at this game without it now, no headlight shadows , depth of field, improved lights and rain make it hard to look at.

hi, dont know if it helps but maybe you give it a try.

open gamerprofile.xml and look for rawcpuscore, maybe its too low
raise them up to 6000 save and try.

or make shortcut, open and add this to the file path
    " -disablepagefilecheck -cpuCount=4 -exThreads=4"

otherwise reduce the settings like txgt explained

Yes, but except for the LOD. The geometry and things like leaves on the ground are still reduced but not that much as in Vanilla. Also draw distance is slightly better than Vanilla Medium.

Was the download linked to the the version without rain? Because I haven't seen any rain. What would I have to do to fix it so that I can get the rain back?
Do I just edit an XML file somewhere?

Do you use Standard Edition? If so then you haven't seen any rain yet because the timescale is very slow and every weather condition will last very long. If I need rain I go into Online Free Roam until I find the session with rain. Then after 5 minutes I exit Free Roam and rain stays in single player. You need to be in Free Roam at least 5 minutes so the weather preset transition was complete. If you exit early you'll be back to your weather that was before you enter Free Roam.

A month or two. It's a lot of mods - a lot of merging and testing. And for that I don't have much free time.

    Hey TXGT,
Did you use any kind of Sweet FX on your Screenshots or is it just the Mod?
What was / is your ingame brightness ?

Maybe you could cooperate with Marduk in terms of the FoC Installer, because he lost his files on MEGA and needs to make a new one too, except someone else can upload it.

    Thanks for your work. :)

    1. no sweetfx
    2. ingame brightness = 70 (playing on 42" Plasma TV)
    3. don't have time for Foc, it's too big, my max upload speed 124 Kbyte/s + bad line (ADSL2) + disconnects = lot of tries to upload the FOC. Profit?

    Hey there Litemodders! :D

Should I include this Super Foggy Weather condition in my next Lite Mod Update (the usual weather conditions will remain)?

Yes, it's from DLC_MC06 with default Clear envlighting, cloud=0. It looks fantastic at night! But I wish we could set different fog for daytime, because it looks bad with sunlight and great with visible moon at night.

Awesome fog. Could you post a screenshot of blackout in downtown?
