Finally had some time to play again and still same issues.

    https://www.reddit.com/r/blackopsco...potential_fix_for_microstutters_on_rx_5700xt/

Seems like this may be a fix for users so I will be giving this a shot. Anyone that tries be sure to set the game settings how you want to and set the config file to read only after making the changes or the game will reset your settings, also may need to do this with each update as sometime the game will reset settings with a game update.

Will report back once I have time to sit down and test myself. This also seems to work for users of MW and Warzone as well. Fingers crossed :)

OP, are you still running the ryzen 1700, mow many hdd/ssd/m.2 drives are you running, if you have all m.2 and sata ports populated....that could be your issue.

It's not, already tested just M.2 alone and tested this for a few hours and seems so far to be working much, much better.

Does Cold War have Cache Sun/Spot Shadow? If yes, try with them disabled.

I'm not looking at Cold War right now but believe it does not. So far doing the changes I posted is working for me. Not going to say yeah on it yet as I've had times it works and then doesn't work, but like in the thread posted it's working for a lot of users. Just a very strange issue. I had a friend on a 10900k and a 5600XT and was having the same issue, dropped a 3090 in and it went away, but we just thought it was due to the 3090 and how much more VRAM it had to use and didn't think much of it. The friend that got the 5600XT was then experiencing the issue too when coming from a 970 so that's why I created this thread originally to see if anyone else was getting the issue or if this just so happened to be something on our ends, but I see others are having the same issue reporting as well on Reddit and other sub forums.

Did you decreased VideoMemoryScale in adv_options.ini ?

//Fraction of video memory usage to target is the section I changed under the config.ini settings to .55 and it's so far been good for myself, but also have not had enough play time to be 100% sure it's the issue.

(I9 10850K 32GB RX 5700 XT)The stuttering has been the problem since the beginning. I can only play one game with High Textures and the game starts to stutter every ten second making it unplayable. With Normal Textures I can play two games and the stuttering begins. Low Textures I don't have this problem only that the game looks grainy.

The stuttering is happening because memory swap when the VRAM is full and you go to new area that you haven't visited yet and the game wants upload the new textures to VRAM but as I said its full of old textures. Now the firmware (or I don't which should be doing this game it self or the graphic cards firmware) has to delete some textures and at same time upload new textures to VRAM and which you can see as stuttering every ten seconds. 3090 helps tackle the problem because large VRAM but it still isn't enough because if you play long enough 3090 will start to stutter also.

Devs should just clear the videomemory after every game then it would be fine. I think they have tried to optimize the game so it would be faster if it didn't have reload graphic every game but instead they just made it worse by filling up the VRAM.

Best solution for this is to play low textures (not ideal) but I don't want to!

From reading discussion online about this is not a problem to all graphic cards(I don't know why its only limited to some).

This helps the problem but it is also annoying because when you reload shaders this is set 0.85 so you would have revisit this file every time the shaders are loaded. The game wants to reload the shaders every time the frequency of the CPU changes (that 90% of the time). If I answer no I don't want to it still reloads them. Super annoying!

    Anything at 50-75% should be OK (0.50 - 0.75)
Also is good to disable NV Reflex in adv_options.ini (set as read only after Tweaks).
Cold War needs a lot of patches (the problem is weak game opti IMhO)
Warzone is fine with Vega - no need for Tweaks.
