VXG 70.20b(NV4x) & 70.20c(NV3x) Released!

Excellent work for Ti4200!!!

I'm very hard to be pleased. Since now I have used Omega's 44.03 - the fastest one..... till now, even that I have tested more than 30 drivers after them.


Pluses:
1. VXG 70.20c are faster than Omega 44.03 in DX8 games
2. Also....people with Ti4200 card could even use them for scoring thier highest score in 3DMark03.
3. The fastest noncheating drivers in 45.XX-71.XX
4. FIFA2005 work w/o problems
5. F1 99-02 (all mods) work w/o problems
6. BF1942 (all mods) work w/o problems

Minuses:
1. Slower than 44.03 Omega in DX7 games (~10%)
2. Flickering when change the graph modes.

Quality - perfect (better then Omega 44.03 qualiti mode)

10x for the good work man!

p.s. Dont forget that 44.03 drivers are cheating the benchmarks

 

flickering for a sec or 2 on your monitor is normal when your changing certain settings in your control panel.

 

This flickering is much longer and not only changing the setting but also swith from games to desktop(alt-Tab) or in FIFA just before starting the the match (5-6 sec). I have never had this before with 4X.XX series. But this is not a big deal... just annoying. More important is that the games run better

yeah with these newer versions i do notice a longer delay when minimizing. newer versions meaning 6x and 7x series drivers.

 

Do You think it will be good also for GeForce1 DDR or 2/4MX ?

 

for those cards i would recommend ttrying the FX version. soon there will be an installer for several versions. will come with 1 installer and the regular version for NV4x cards the NV3x cards and a new version called ...... dont wanang ive it out yet for even older cards like the geforce 2's and such.
