    Hello,

I had problem with voltages with my old PSU Chieftec 550W, in windows it showed 1.78 in idle and 11.14-20 under load, when i checked it with cheap multimeter the readings were almost the same for 3.3 and 5 but 11.90 idle and 11.48 under load for 12V line. Is i plan to overclock my PC and many opinions suggested that changing the PSU is good idea I decided to buy new one. Bought Corsair TXEU 650W and now voltages in programs like speedfan, everest etc. are 3.38 for 3.3V, 5.00-5.05 for 5V and 11.90(11.78 under full load) for 12V.

My question is: if the board sensors always showed lower 12V voltage than readings with multimeter can i safely assume that with new psu the readings with proper equipment would be a litte higher too ?

yeah 12V motherboard readings are never accurate but almost always lower than what a multimeter will read.
