Well, I installed RC2 x64 with the new Audigy drivers and everything works great. I decided to try a game and installed NSF:MW just to see, with everything maxed at 12x10 the game runs choppy, and in xp it runs very smooth. Not sure if it is just the operating system or what. Any ideas? I haven't installed the beta Forcewares yet, but I am going to.
CSS has artifacts and tearing all over, runs great when I reboot into xp, just doesn't like that driver that's built into rc2...
under vista, no... figured it had it already since rc2 just came out... but I will give that a try...
Installation had a hiccup, had to reset after the performance test, started fine after that. Drivers are poor, my audigy only has sound through the front speakers and no sound when I select surround, even after a restart. Graphics drivers(96.37 most stable) have very low performance, a huge 1283 on 3dmark06, cpu mark is about right 1800 @ 2.4GHz, I can't complete the base score, getting a nvlddmkm.sys bsod on all nvidia display drivers. Apart from that I quite like this new operating system
