I've heard that if you have the 32 bit OEM version of Vista, that you can get a 64-bit cd for around $10.
Does anyone know where I can find a link to do this? Like an idiot, I bought the 32 bit version and want to go to 64 bit. But I don't want to have to buy Vista all over again.
    Any links on this?
    TIA folks!

I THINK you can only do that with the retail versions.

I get this error when I try to sign up at that site Infested mentioned.
"We're sorry, the following error(s) have occurred:
    No Offer Found"

    That sucks. Looks like I'm S.O.L. :(

    Update,
I just called Microsoft and was told the O.E.M edition does not qualify for the "alternative media".

Congratulations on upgrading to Windows Vista. The RETAIL PACKAGE product ships on DVD with 32-bit edition software, but two forms of alternate media are available to help meet your specific requirements:

I put my OEM key in there and it wouldn't let me order anything

The same misery I'am currently in, but like the other Guru's said there is no alternative to buy the 64bit version if you own the OEM (its even cheaper than one full Vista retail package though).
