Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'll start with flight sim 2004, get my basics down and then move up from there.

All the flight sim games I encoutered were poor graphically. They should have models like those in BF2!

Ive been inspired to play some more IL-2 pacific fighters since reading this thread...and i have to say the P-63C-5,1944 is a great muti-role fighter...espeacially when you need to out power those little Zero's that tend to get right behind you....then pull the dual .50 cals and whatever else is stock on it and blow them away...then make another swoop and collapse there parashoots..mwahahahahaahehhehhmhhm.

I would like to show you some "poor" graphical models contained in my 3 favorite flight sim games.

From FS2004 cockpit of my Piper Cherokee:

    Here's Pacific Fighters in action:

Pretty good for a 4 year old game engine...

INDEED! I can't wait for that game.
They have no info of it. Is it supposed to be a game at all or not?

yes it will be a game. It will use a modified xplane 8 engine to addapt it to a combat sim. Apparently for what i read at the forums, they will initialy release the main engine with training missions and will add expansions once a year to make the game bigger and add campaigns, etc. Release date is 2006 so ill have some time to train and become a decent pilot at least.
