Video Card Issue

    Im having a issue with my video card every time i play a game the screen gose black after some time lately it has been getting worse is there anyway to stop the black screen. PS also it fezzes for a few seconds.

    My specs.

    ATI Radeon 7500 32mb
    756mb's of DDR SDRAM
    Intel Pem 4 1.8gzh
    160GB Hard Drive
    Intel Mother Board AGP 4X

    Whats the problem and can i fix it.

    try reinstalling windows?

    How old is this card?

    Anyway, the first thing to do is to determine which of your system or your card is the source of the problem. See if you can borrow another AGP card and try it on your system. If it works ok with a different card it probably means your card is on its way out. Not the end of the world, you can probably find a better card for less than $50 and your system can handle even faster ones such as 9800 XT or even 1650 Pro (they can run 4X mode), 7500's are long gone I'm afraid.
