This is written for a 780 reference but the same applies for the reference 780Ti.

Wow, that's awesome, I'll give it a go tonight. Thanks Loophole :D

EDIT it unlocked voltage but the power limit is the problem now, keeps throttling back, is there a way to fix that too?

Yes. KBT 1.27 mod your BIOS and reflash it. The other way is a hard mod but I know you don't want to do that.

Or you could always flash the Skyt3t vBIOS for your card.

Huh, I did that and now I can't get into Windows with graphics drivers installed, it BSODs on startup, what have I done? I reflashed back to the stock bios and it's still happening, HELP? :(

Totally agree with you That you can never have enough GPU power
even if you game at 1080p

If you can afford a GTX 780 ti go with the
EVGA GEFORCE GTX780 TI SUPERCLOCKED W/ EVGA ACX COOLER 3GB GDDR5

or else EVGA GEFORCE GTX780 ACX DUAL CLASSIFIED 3GB GDDR5 PCI-E RETAIL.
there are several other pre-overclocked versions of the Evga GTX780

Reboot into Windows safe mode and uninstall nvidia graphics drivers then uninstall the Windows default driver in device manager. After that reboot into Windows normal without network enabled so Windows does not try and install drivers. In your C:/ partition you hav an Nvidia folder open it and open the display driver folder then go into the latest driver folder and select the setup.exe. this will install the drivers again. Reboot and see if your probkemis gone.

I've had a corupted driver install do the same thing. This is how I fixed it.

I dont recommend the skynet bios with a ti, it tightens the timing too much in my case at least 2 cards and I had it underclocked to 6900 before I gave up on the vram. my cards run at 7516 thats +253 on the vram offset. regarding power limit look here

I ran DDU too, wiped everything including Intel stuff, and unplugged the net, and it worked. Thank you :D

Looks like windows corrupted the driver when you rebooted after the flash. All is good now. As ---TK--- said just mod your Bios for power target and go from there. If you still feel like playing with it. I know that little scare may have made you not want to mess with it anymore.

Sorry i've been absent all day. For the classy at least some guys created a program to bypass Nvidia restrictions and control Core, memory, and PCI-E voltage manually. Coupled with Skyn3t's BIOS, includes these features:
    skyn3t-Classy-vBios-rev4
    Version 80.80.31.01.80 B1 chip
    Base core clock 1110.5 Mhz
    Boost disable
    3d voltage adjustable
    1.212v Unlocked
    Fan Idle 20%
    Fan bumped to 100%
    Default power target 100% 600w by 150% slide 900w

It becomes an overclocking monster, even on air. Though i see loophole showed you a loophole to adjust voltage ;)

Admittedly i've never done a BIOS flash with a GPU either, but i've done plenty of Mobos that don't have a dual BIOS to begin with so doing it on a GPU with a BIOS we should be okay.

Yeah it was definitely a bit of a scare, still want to do it but I think I'll have to build up the courage first hehe.
