that "gear-shifting tech" seems named to make it like brand new feature but if we want say it in simple, i guess that is just overclock feature, that will throttle when hit certain degrees i more insteresting on how hot the nand chip and how it impact on ssd reliability ... while it never get reviewed much iirc based on last google ssd report temp have some impact to ssd lifespan... cooler =better?
