Everyone has their own opinions about OS's personally I like Win7 but then again that's just me. My only issue being I upgrade installed from Vista and I think I need to do a fresh install but I'm waiting till I get another HDD to replace my current as main.

Tested these drivers like I've tested the previous few no in-depth game play just loaded the same spot/area and marked down lowest and highest fps. Settings I used are the same settings I play with, highest possible with acceptable fps.

Tested EVR with MPC-HC again and it works for me but like i mentioned in 197.28 post I never use it since I see no difference in what I mainly watch and that's anime.

Yeah, it would be nice of whomever posts a new driver thread to just add one.

    Oh, well. Poll added.

    Bull****

XP x64 is very good and stable system, i don't care about DX10+ (still no significant change in graphics with DX9C), also i didin't go with Vista & 7 = no Hardware Sound support.
197.41 is only for 4xx series, don't bother with it on any other cards, i have BSOD with this drivers on my GTX260, back to 197.15 with OpenGL 3.3 support.

wow what a completely worthless thread, not even one discussion on the performance of these, all about xp64 and how there is no 4series even out. hopefully by tonight the crack heads will be out trying to score, and the people who actually test these (id like to know performance on a 4series card) will post later. i saw 2 problems with the 4 series that even matters, (3 is unacceptable... you cant be serious) the win7x64 if you play armaII or are running duel view or clone mode, other than that, i mean really?

True, I ain't trying as I do not bother with drivers these days that need Modded .ini's and that includes Quadro driver's that should not really be good for gaming.

I am more interested in peeps with the proper supported cards showing how much FPS they gain or lost with them.

Ukraver, you're getting an infraction for insulting another user.

And for the last time: all this XP vs. Vista vs. 7, 32-bit vs. 64-bit "discussion" belongs into this section: http://forums.guru3d.com/forumdisplay.php?f=27
