I would recommend as im a bmw fan but if thats a no go for porcshe.
I'd hate to think what the maintenance would cost - assuming you can find a Porsche specialist....
Deciding on a car is so hard! T_T I looked up reliablilty info on the 07 Cayman, but couldn't find a long term review.
Says 5 out of 5, are they bull****ting me? Are these just fanboy reviews or do they just mark up the rating because its a Porsche?
Don't know, but why would you want a Cayman? Personally I think it's kind of gay.
Dunno, but since you mentioned Subaru I've had my Legacy for 3yrs and the only work it's had done was to replace a $20 trans cooler hose...
No man, a Porsche Boxster is gay. Driven mostly by women and older guys who try to use an entry level car as a status symbol.
Here's an examples of the ones I find that are cheaper. This one is $26k. Why it has a "GT" emblem on the back, I'm not sure.
Cayman is a Boxster with a roof.
So you are gay I suppose.
Anyway, I don't want to turn this into a flame war.
But for me the only real Porsche is the 911.
haha, daym yeah it is. Guess I'm half gay... T_T
Was really referring to the older Boxster before the Cayman came out. Guess I really despise convertibles. Well anyways, the hunt continues.
Haha, I also don't like convertibles, I think it's just something for women in my opinion.
On a sunny day, go drive a honda S2000 on a great backroad before you talk sh! about convertibles.
If the chassis is designed right, it brings the center of gravity down greatly, making the car much more responsive in corners.
But I do agree, its rare when you actually take the top down and have fun. And porsche convertibles are just ugly IMO.
As ice445 said, Probably alignment.
My toyota use to vibrate a bit at 70mph(112kph?), it fixed after I got new tires/alignment.
Worst case it can be some bushing or rubber part in the suspension, definitely not something in the engine.
Cool, when my Datsun is running I want to take it there.
Had this happen to me today:
The sound the engine made after this was... memorable.
Now trying to find out what the **** happened. Fun fun fun.
whats that man? ignition part? hmmm..damn..good luck with it..
Spark plug. And as you can see, half of it is missing.
Yes. 92 Accord.
Maybe it just popped out because it's old?
Don't think it's old. The other plugs are in decent condition. I swapped them all out and the engine is running again, but there's oil all over the plugs so the valve cover gasket is definitely blown. Gonna replace that tomorrow. Just wondering what else I'm gonna find when I take it apart.
Nasty john, how on earth did you manage that lol
Can't be that bad, its Japaneese
Popped out completely? Knackered thread?
No. Look at the photo, part of the ceramic in the middle is gone. The electrode is loose. No idea how that could happen, but my friend who is a Mercedes mechanic suggested a production error with the plug itself. Funny thing is that I was going to take the plugs out today to check them because it's been running funnily lately, but alas, 400 meters from home it blew to pieces. Haha.
I've been driving an absolutely ridiculous amount every day for work lately, so something was bound to give in. This motor hasn't used any oil at all before (none!), but now it's all over the place. Grr!
