i'd be totally going for a TDI at that point. haha. Sadly not in the US. :(

It's got a rather unique style to it, i think. It's almost like a mix between the GTI and Jetta.

This is what I've been up to!

Sold my Z32TT (posted a while ago on this thread) because I needed something I could drive in the winter. Sad to see it go, but I got over after buying this:

    2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS, 5 speed.
Bought it bone stock, and went to town! Lots of work went into it, mod list became quite large! One of only 2 sets of HKS springs known to be in North America are on it, along with plenty of other handling mods.
Went to a couple auto-x events, had an absolute blast.

Sadly, I began to lust after something a little faster. As awesome as the Subaru was in the corners, the straight line speed was lacking, even with upgrades.
So I sold it and bought this:

    1992 Toyota Celica GT4, 5 speed, JDM
I really like the combination of speed and handling it offers. Only a few mods to it so far, but more to come I'm sure. With this car I find that I'm spending way less time under the hood, which means more time on my PC, which means it will be upgrade time for it soon :)

Raaah damn, I would have bought it off you if you were few states away. There are none around in my area. Well there are but the manual is little harder to find.

Here's mine. Nothing special in terms of internals. Gets me from point A to point B in some style.

Don't want to go too OT, but in case you haven't already, check out the rs25.com and nasioc.com forums. Plenty of TX guys on both, and the classifieds are usually pretty busy.
If you do end up getting one, I promise you will love it! And if you modify it, the very first thing you should do is get a thicker rear sway bar. Good luck in your search!

Yeah, even though thats a dedicated 2.5RS site, I flipped through 30 pages of the For Sale section and there was only 2 of them selling in TX, which was already too late. Seems like there was more 2.5RS cars in the West and East and barley any in the middle of the US.
I'm back where I started as usual, which is pondering how I'm supposed to inspect a car out of state then ship it here. My car is in no condition to be driving for a few hundred miles anymore. I know I could rent a car and drive there myself, which is also a time consuming task and gas money.
Going back to the original plan of getting a 2011WRX sounds like the easy way out but I'm always thinking that I could fix up and pay for the older Impreza in a year where as if I had a new car, I'd only be able to afford gas for it.

Sucks when I don't like many cars ;/

    Really nice cars around here!
    I'm a carnerd, too... and must admit, i'm a ricer :D

No, not your typical fast and furious bling-bling ricer'bro,
i just really like japanese motors, the looks, the performance, the feeling.

I bought my first car, a civic, about two years ago, and i really love it!
It's a 89' model, EC9 dual-carb, without all bells and whistles, packed with a choke, great feeling to it while driving, feels like a go-cart, light as a feather. :)

Enough talk, here are some pictures:

    [IMG] [IMG]

The car is in a great shape, both technical and visual, and just down to 90.000 km, made some improvements to it.
Someday, i plan on getting an GT-R, or at least dream of it... :p

Finished my floors with POR-15 and put the soundproofing in, waited 3 weeks for the insulator foam to turn up so I can put the carpets in, but now it looks like Royal Mail have lost my parcel :cussing:
