Yeah it's like 3 hours from Toledo to Erie, and PA is a very long state.

A friend had the same engine in an A3, pretty pokey for a 1.8.

my mate just bought a 1999 A3 with the same 1.8 engine. He got it a day after I got my A4... have to say I prefer the interior of my A4 to the one on his A3. A4 has a lot bigger boot as well. Which comes handy when you're lugging massive ice hockey bags around. The A3 is a bit faster to 60mph, but there's not a lot in it. It's a bit smaller and probably a bit lighter so... I remember even my 1.8l focus zetec felt faster than this A4. But it's no slouch by any means. It's faster than my 1.8l mondeo was, by quite a bit. and it's a lot smoother. Just had to put a new choke in it, the old one was causing erratic idle revs. it was a £160 job but now it's all sorted and it drives like a champ.

Engines are pretty bullet proof aswell, so shouldnt really have any issues there.

It is a V6 Holden Commodore 1997 Series II Executive which produces 147kw and handles very well with 18" rims. I have installed a 12 inch subbie in the boot and amp and plan on getting a performance exhaust system in the future for loudness purely.

Stock for stock, a good driver in an M6 WS.6 can run 12.8s, a good driver in an M6 C6 can run 12.5~, it'd be a close race with "average" drivers.

    A Z06 would spank a stock LS1 F-body though.

@Humonculus1987: As for the video i was supposed to post, Imageshack had a 10mb limit, and the video is 36mb, i'll try youtube. My car is 350rwhp SAE (sea level), nearly stock being: Headers, Lid, Exhaust, OR-Y, 3.73's and a Tune at sea level, which is nearly stock for these.

Car was supposed to be in a Calendar, but that fell through. here is the shot(3 Exposure HDR)

Exterior is done. Next is a 23x/23x cam, 3600 stall. should be at 400rwhp with a good tune. Running 12's@sea level, with some DRs

Make sure you get a leakdown before the powertrain expires.
I wouldn't touch the engine of that car until the warranty runs due to the crazy soft pistons in the 2.5 turbos.
    /Why yes, i am buying a new motor :(
