Yeah i thought so. Still nice to own one. I have a friend with one that is suped all the way out.
Nice Skyline roguesn1per. You should slap on some GT-R wheels or at least some nice aftermarket with an aggressive offset to really give it stance.
The paint is metallic silver and is brand new
( stripes are decals )
I will be doing it up.
I feel so depressed when i see a GTR in front of me.....lol...happens all the time
Hoping to get 350-400 hp at the wheels someday. Then i can smile at gtrs
the GTR engine was designed to easily handle 500-600HP, it's also larger :X
the bodykit and wheel are depressing, the r34 gt-t is my least favorite next to the r32 gts but it's still a skyline so <3
how can u not like the 34s!!
ther the best looking! lol.
Well i meant i could beat a stock GTR
And my engine is the RB25 DET NEO
Which has some GTR internals.
tbh even the gt-t will do 500 to 600 easily some cool stuff are those 1000HP RB26DETT GT-R's
My fav skyline is R33 looks nicest after new GT-R
I got this car because it's the only real Japanese classic apart from the Hakosuka and Kenmeri. If it wasn't for the Z there wouldn't be all the Japanese sports cars we have today such as the RX7 and NSX, it was a major turning point in the car industry, plus they're super rare nowadays, especially the UK spec cars. You say they look piss poor on paper but you're forgetting this car is 37 years old and competed against the Porsche 911 back in the day.
Opinions on looks are subjective.
and even with "low" specs the 260z and 240z are quite fast and for sure agile cars weight like nothing compared to muscle cars of that time. and if one doesn't like the low power you can always fit almost any engine in there from skyline engine to V8 >.<
My dad bought a 280Z new in 1977, very neat car and held together very well. I believe it even had a 5 speed. He gave it to a cousin who brought it back to Calgary, Canada...I would like to try to find it someday.
I have had this for a while, just ordered new whitewalls for it.
it looks hot mate!
Yeah don't take what I said as an insult, it was just my opinion. The car doesn't really look bad, it's just meh. I guess the thing that I don't like is the front bumper. Is that stock? It hangs under the rest of the car and looks out of place.
And yes, I can understand that it's 37 years old and I took that into account. I was just wondering if it was really fun to drive or something.
I dunno lol, I haven't driven it yet, it's on SORN for the forseeable future
The brakes are supposed to be terrifying, and I've read the gear box isn't the easiest thing in the world to use. But it's all about the character with classic cars, it smells of the 70s when you get in it and the dash is so oldschool.
No offense taken, it's good people have different tastes or we'd all be driving boring cars. Or cool cars. But then they would be boring because everyone drives one
ok so theres nothing left standard on this any more ......

Just a reminder that anything in an S30 besides a straight six is just wrong.
Doens't amtter what straight 6
L28, L28ET, RB26DETT, random BMW ****, etc
I might make an exception for SR20s because they do make the car handle amazing.
Loook! An engine:
I just bought myself a nice 1997 Honda prelude. First car . Man that is such a great car. The H22 is one kickass engine for being a 4 cylinder.
surely its wrong id myself never put anything else then something by nissan in a S30. Just said that cause i've seen some v8 conversions
Now thats how they useto make cars, look at the detail...fantastic. Nice post mate, your car looks swell.
That motor is not stock... Thats a built one with tripple weber sidedrafts.
Stock they come with dual round-top SU carbs.(Or fuel injection on the L28e, L28ET)
It is an L28E sans FI with 48 DCOEs. I know this because it sits in my driveway.
Needs more aggressive cam and maybe an L28D crank as the 48s are a touch big.
