right well for a start if ure 21 u can get the 3.0 v6 clio mk3 then you can just put a dump valve on it and have it dynno tuned they maybe some semi slick track tires on it lol or you could twin turbo it

u will only realy get insured for any think over a 1.4litre when ure 21 :/ and you carnt get like a 1.3 renault 5 300bhp thing because its to powerful how ever you can get what ever bike you want when ure 17 andup but has to be restricted for 2 years to 33bhp

I like the idea of a built Volvo 240/740. Stick a B230 with a few mods and a big turbo in there, and you're looking at about 360ft/lbs of torque. In a 1300Kg, RWD car. Yes please

A 20 year old Volvo that would out-pull an M3. Also, you could blend in with it...



I'd prefer an Alfasud though.



Or a GTV6 or a 75. Sadly all of the above are rather harder to find than old Volvos in scrapyards for ripping bits off...

Also, barwell - what on earth is that in the 3rd pic?! Looks like a Clio V6 with a Supra front end...not a fan myself lol

Fast Renaults are cool though. An Alpine GTA is something I'm determined to own at some stage in my life.



I'd love an R5 Turbo, but pretty much without exception they all seem to have been horribly chavved.

 

you can have a dup valve on any car with a turbo ;p

 

If you have been driving for a few years then you can get insurance for more powerful cars. I'm 22 and can get insurance on a Focus ST220 for £800. Quite a lot, but still if you are a new driver 1.4 is about the limit. 1.4 sounds small to people for the other side of the pond but most of the newer ones produce 100bhp in a 900kg car which is enough for a new driver.

If you are 21 you can do an extra test for the motorbike license and do not have to ride for 2 years with a restrictor.

no they dont come stock but lots of them are fitted after

Ther is one company that does it they buy the car off of renault and fit the turbos then sell them as new them selves

it was in max power or fast car carnt remember which one and idk if they do it any more it was on the mk2 they did it but were suposed to be doing the mk3 as well

How can people think huge wheels and bits of plastic improve on the original I'll never know. I've always like Renaults. The new Megane Trophy looks awesome too

The French have always been good at 'eccentric' cars. Personally, I think this looks fantastic.
