I have updated the link so that it should be working. I can provide some progress pictures if anyone would like of my falcon.

A little background my dad and I painted my car and I did all of the mechanical work. 302 carbed with a 5 speed and 4.62 gears. Thanks for looking.

Falcon is too cool, love it :)

You only get one shot at having a first car, and you've massively won with that one...

    :)

To recap now after having it for a few days and finally driving my black one again...

I love both rides but going from the Stingray to the C6 it's like I got transported to the 90s in terms of the interior. It's functional and works but it's night and day difference. :)

The Z51 package and magnetic ride on the Stingray is absolutely stunning. I thought my Bilstein setup on the C6 was great (and it is), but the C7's suspension is much better.

If I didn't have the supercharger on the C6 I'd think long and hard about getting rid of it. Only thing (and I've read this before) the C6 feels more spacious on the inside over the C7.

Here's some shots I took of the instrument cluster and whatnot. It's so freaking cool and fun. It has 100s of possible options. Car currently shows a 4500rpm redline (you can go beyond it) but it goes away after 500 miles.

Here's 11 miles pulling out of the dealer with it. Navigation can be put in the cluster.

lol car is still being broken in. Look at the tachometer shots it shows a redline of 4500rpm and a yellow zone of 3500. That goes away after it's broken in. It'll let you go past it to the real redline but I prefer to not do it until it's gone through the mileage.

It's not the engine you have to worry about really. It's just that the computer takes time to learn all the details, especially emissions related stuff.

Haha! I haven't updated my signature there on the left I think since I set up the site.

I have an LGA 2011 Core i7 as my main HTPC, a Core i3 living room setup, and a Core i5 bedroom setup. I have good PC hardware too hehe. :)

Yesterday a blue Corvette the same as yours drove by me going the other way. Although I'm not a big fan of sports cars I have to say it did look quite nice.

@FULMTL - hope you got good money for that SVX, they're a collectors item down here.

  15. The turd, as it sits now. ..I'm poor, so I plan on throwing plasti dip on the roof, maybe the hood too, depends. Anything will look better than how bad it is now.

Still, I've owned this car nearly ten years, hasn't broke down once. All maintenance kept up by my own work.

EDIT: I'll get some shots of how it turns out, bad or good. :D

  16. After! ..Yes, I blacked the little window out. May or may not get pulled over, we'll see.
