@Sash - Yh mate its a great engine, pulls very hard for a 1.4 because of the twin charge, remap and induction gives you about 220bhp and sub 6 second 0-60's. On the main seat forum i vist there are some with this sort of puwer pushing 13's in the qaurter mile which is very fast.

The DSG has been great for me but i know they have released a few software updates so that might be worth looking into.

Alas my engine is dead, took it apart and it looks like it had some serious detonation in the past. Cylinder 6 is corroded on both the head and block, so it's time to find new engine. Major suckage :(

    And so the bodywork begins...

Got to love a peppy tourquey floaty barge.

Gave the pug a quick wash on sunday but ran out of motivation when it started raining and ruined the wax!

When you say "induction" you mean turbocharger and intercooler?

Yeah, you are right, but i am missing the Cupra, and the pulling power of that was so nice, but i had to change gears losing most of it during changes, i am thinking that i can turn this RS into a stock Cupra, that DSG will do wonders since the power delivery is almost constant, well it has a better flow than manual changing, i don't think that anyone can change a manual faster than DSG, maybe drift pilots and Schumacher!

Its already got a turbo so must mean air intake/filter but tbh these don't really net you much. Some OEM intakes and filters these days are plenty adequate upto silly levels of power.

Yeah this basically, its custom made induction kit specifically for this car so have proven gains on various rolling roads and test's, plus give it a more throaty sound and enhances the supercharger whine which i really like so should sound pretty good.

Car has a turbo and a front mounted intercooler as standard, althought not a very big one.

Just bought a '97 Nissan Skyline R33 GTS-T, getting it next week! Can't wait to drive around in that one, it's been a dream to own one for a couple of years. It's replacing my VW Golf as my daily driver.

Dunno about you, but when i read your comment, i couldn't help but stare at the seemingly overcompensating rear spoiler, and the tailpipe you could probably quite easily stuff a Nerf football inside of.

Thanks for the comments guys! Actually wanted to buy a R34 before, but when I saw one for real I didn't actually like the angles in the car's body. The R33 is curved a bit more. It's standard for the most part, only thing the previous owner (imported it last week from Japan) changed were the wheels and he added a couple of lights to the front bumper. Can't wait to drive it!

that spoiler is actually quite small (and stock) compared to other spoilers in the market and the tailpipe seems to be part of the usual 3" aftermarket performance exhaust solutions. as you can see the spoiler doesn't actually come up too high and isn't even wider than the rear quarter panels.

compare that to the molested r33 GTS's out there:

Just as tiny as the stock one i got on my ITR.
I dont get it why people instantly start flaming when they see a spoiler, no matter if it's fitting or not.

No, i wont throw a huge aftermarket spoiler on my car, but i also wont get rid of the stock one.
Those engineers added it for a reason, and my car shure can benefit from a bit more downfoce for it's 1.1t light weight.
