VBS heads up.

    I figure this must have been posted somewhere at some time, but as its the new years here is an easy goto just to check.
    VBS= virtual based security and it can have quite a detrimental effect on the performance of your pc when gaming.

    To check see if its enabled on your 10/11 distro Thats windows btw. :D
    Type in search: MSInfo32 hit enter and then scroll down: virtual based security. Check it set to Not enabled.
    Then all will be good with the world, well, maybe. :)

    The abbreviation is the same, but they are entirely different concepts.

    It's better to disable it trough bios right?For intel cpu's it's called "intel virtualization" in the cpu options under advanced.
    If my information is correct this disables VBS and in turn HVCI.
