Why would he want to hack Valve, the stupid idiot :S He's only making himself wanted, and it seems he's proud of it too :S

Maddox is the guy that lead the team that was distributing free copies of CS:S and their updates. Their group also made hacked versions of steam that allowed you to get all of the games for free (for a while anyway). I do trust that this guy could do it. And if you find the files that they've posted, there are deffinately cc numbers that he's distributed, along with a lot of other stuff valve I'm sure does not want out.
funny that the mods at valves forum are turning a blind eye. Yes i believe he did it and he most likely did it to increase awareness of loop holes in valves system. I'm pretty sure hes one of the guys who stole the beta of css and the alpha of hl2. but dude valve has a lot of money... can i have $50,000 plz? i've been a good boy ^_^

I think it was said somewhere that many hackers do what they do just because they can, as a self created challenge. But I wonder whose credit card info he got? I don't remember having to submit any information when I registered for Steam.... Did he get Valve's employees' info?
He probably got the CCN's from people who made purchases on Steam (like myself actually). Shame shame on both parties involved so to speak.
Great when a company like Valve have these problems and better yet, don't inform its paying customers that there bank details could be in the hands of a 14 year old attention seeker, well played Valve. I'm just glad I bought my games at the shops rather than through Steam.
Didn't you have to buy HL2 first? or maybe you can by CSS as a single game I don't have a clue I just always bought HL first then downloaded CS
Yeah i bought HL2 with HL2:Ep. 1 but no CSS with the games so i simply got CSS through Steam. For the people who have not used Steam to purchase any kind of game they are safe.
Valves f'up if bank details ae leaked. Customers pay to dl stuff on steem, so part of that money should go to valve maintaining good enough protection to stop these kind of attacks and info getting leaked....
