Great if your with somebody, sucks if your on your own, this valentine will be me and the wifes 8th year.It is however just another money making racket. Voted Neutral.
It sucks either way. If you're single, it makes you feel inept. If you're with someone, you're forced to spend money. With that said, the benefits of having someone on the day are definitely nice. This will be my first valentines day where I'm not single
hmmm... I'm spending more money on my birthday as me and my gf decided to go to london for a weekend and live it up a bit... that will cost us more than a valentines dinner, few drinks and a hotel... And for those who moan that it's a holiday for women, well you guys haven't been playing your cards right... it can be beneficial for both parties you know! Last year I spent Valentine's in Windsor UK, we went for a meal, had a few drinks and then shagged the night away, how is that not a good deal? There was even live Olympics women's ice hockey on TV!!! Get in!
I don't care one way or another. Though of course it's corporate BS to rob us some more, just like mother's day, father's day, etc.
damn i came in here again expecting someone to have saved the thread with some hot chick in sexy lingerie with a big fluffy heart or something lol@Finch, im 100% with you on Finchday
Hearts and roses and kisses galore, What the hell is all that **** for? People get mushy and start acting queer, It is definitely the most annoying day of the year. This day needs to get the hell over with and pass, Before I shove something up Cupid's ass. I'll spend the day so drunk I can't speak And wear black for the rest of the week. Guys act all sweet, but soon it will fade, For all they are doing is trying to get laid. The arrow Cupid shot at me must not have hit, Cause I think this love thing is a crock of ****. So, here's my story... what else can I say? Love bites my ass... **** Valentines Day
I think it's nice. So what if you have to spend a bit to make the day 'extra' special for your partner...
random skit on Steak and BJ day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOYbFS2w_G4&feature=player_embedded# I somehow have yet to keep a girlfriend when Feb 14 rolls around. Coincidence, not on purpose... I'm not an *******, I just...have short term relationships. Single for a few years now, but I kind of like it like this for now.
Not a paticular fan. They're even selling Valentine cards for your Mother and Grandmother now. Am I the only one that finds that a little sick? As for the above pic: Not really my type of women tbh, but each to their own.
Hate it. I'm a super practical gift giver and I hate having to bother with figuring out what will make her happy, because face it... you never REALLY know with women. AND, despite what they say, the thought doesn't count if it's not the right one.
not a fan of the whole idea of valentines day either, but hey, anything to make the girl happy (happy enough to give me a good reward at the end of the day  ). I tend to ignore the commercialization of the whole idea and focus on the thought behind it. of course this year I won't have to worry about splurging, broke up just a few months ago (and thank goodness for that lol)
+ 101 If you go out of your way to make your wife/gf feel special on a regular or better yet, on a daily basis there's no need to fall into the commercial trap that is February 14'th. Most woman just want a man that truly cares about them and is willing to show it in the little things of every day life.... big expensive gifts once a year don't make a twit of difference in the long haul - your actions each day do.
Nice.. I might have to consider going in that shop for some valentines shopping advice.. Anyway... Fap fap fap fap
