V-Sync Vs. Frame Limiter

    I've never experienced it since I got this screen and I never use vsync. Go figure.
    It was very bad on my previous screen (60Hz) though.
    To "smoothen things out" I always use a framerate limiter (Nvidia Inspector).

    Tearing can be different with different fps.
    fps limiter will help a lot to decrease tearing. In Team Fortress 2 I don't notice any tearing at all while playing with 144Hz and 125fps.
    Borderlands 2 with framerate smoothing@62fps looks very decent too.
    No dam vsync sluggishness needed.
