Anyone else unable to view Ubisofts websites or Uplay's. I though I'd check out the new GRFS patch but am unable to view any Site related to Ubisoft.

So yeah cant access any of my Ubisoft Games. is something their doing on purpose to piss pc gamers off so that we pirate and then Ubi can point fingers at pc piracy levels.

Hmm, It seems from a Google session that I have too change my DNS and such to a few predetermined (if thats the right term) numbers to access UBI's domain.

Never, Never had i ever had to do such a thing.

EDIT: Turns out I have nothing better to do today so gave it a go and it does indeed work so I am able to do as I should without such stupid work around. Details below:

For Vista (dont know if its diff from Win 7)

    1.Start - Control Panel.
    2.Network and Sharing Center
3.Manage Network Connections - Right click on Local Area Connections - Properties.
4.Click on Internet Protocol Ver. 4 (TCP.IPv4) - click Properties.
5.In the window that opens go to 'Use the following DNS server addresses'.
6.Enter 8.8.8.8 as the Preferred DNS server.
7.Enter 220.233.0.4 as the Alternate DNS server then click ok and close on the previous window.
8.Close your browser if it's open. Open it back up and you should be sorted.

Thanks to exetel.com.au for the fix.:)
